CHMPC's commitment to the community extends beyond the medical care we provide to children. Our pediatricians are continually involved in community activities aimed at promoting good health. Our employees are active in many education forums to disseminate information on various children's issues, including presenting to schools and community groups, and serving as local board members. Through efforts such as these, we work to prevent unnecessary doctor visits by teaching parents and children how to stay healthy.

Children's Hospital Medical Practice
Corporation (CHMPC), a non-profit wholly owned subsidiary corporation of Children's Hospital, was created to provide pediatric primary care to the children in and around New Orleans including medically underserved areas. With 14 practices and 16 locations, CHMPC treats over 150,000 children every year.
